Department of cardiomyopathies surgical treatment

The department was founded in 2000.

The department diagnoses and treats various forms of cardiomyopathies, CAD, heart rhythm disorders. The department has the largest experience in surgical treatment of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy in the Russian Federation.

Surgical repair of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. Department surgeons use a range of treatments for patients with various forms of cardiomyopathies based on the understanding of complex pathophysiological processes of the disease. Conservative, surgical and interventional treatment methods are used.

In addition, secondary cardiomyopathies with concomitant chronic heart failure with reduced or preserved ejection fraction are treated in the department.

Over the past 22 years, more than 7,500 patients have been treated at the department, more than 2,000 patients, suffering from various forms of cardiomyopaties, CAD, rhythm disorders, etc. have been operated on with good immediate and long-term results.
