Nuclear diagnostics division quality control group

Nuclear diagnostics division includes Quality control group, which was organized together with PET center and Radiation chemistry laboratory in 2000. The group is engaged in quality control of radiopharmaceuticals, which are produced by the laboratory of radiation chemistry for PET researches.

The objectives of the group are to develop methods for detecting both the radiopharmaceutical itself and impurities obtained as a result of its synthesis, to develop methods and their validation (multiple confirmation), and use them in practice. Currently, the group has developed and put into practice quality control methods for 10 radiopharmaceuticals.
