The scientific consultation department carries out the initial consultations of patients who need surgical treatment of the heart and vessels. The department annually conducts more than 25,000 consultations, 5,000 hospitalizations and 10,000 diagnostic examinations.
Main directions of clinical work
- Diagnosis specification and indications for surgical treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Drug therapy adjustment and preparation of patients for surgical treatment.
- Patients hospitalization to departments for surgical treatment.
- Follow-up observation of patients in the postoperative period.
- Carrying out consultations by correspondence based on the analysis of patients' medical documents.
