RADIATION CHEMISTRY LABORATORY
The radiation chemistry laboratory of A. N. Bakulev Center works as a part of the positron emission tomography (PET) center of the nuclear diagnostics division. The laboratory includes a cyclotron-radiochemical complex, which allows us to carry out the main task of the laboratory - providing the PET center with radiopharmaceuticals labelled with radionuclides with an ultra-short lifetime (half-life less than 2 hours).
The radiation chemistry laboratory allows the PET center to operate autonomously and conduct high-tech cardiac examinations using radionuclide agents with a short lifespan (short half-life and decay).
