Department of gravitational blood surgery and endoscopy with day nephrological hospital

The department specializes in comprehensive care for patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system and disorders of the kidneys, liver, and gastrointestinal tract. Two units- of extracorporeal hemocorrection and of endoscopy - carry out a wide range of extracorporeal hemocorrection, allowing to achieve a therapeutic effect even in conditions where traditional treatment methods are ineffective.

Patients with end-stage chronic kidney disease who are scheduled for valve pathology repair and/or myocardial revascularization undergo program renal replacement therapy in the nephrological day hospital.

The endoscopic service works to prevent gastrointestinal complications. The task of this unit is the prevention, detection and treatment of the gastrointestinal mucosa pathologies at the pre- and postoperative stages. An important direction in the work of the endoscopic service is the diagnostics and treatment of the bronchopulmonary system pathology in adults and children of different age groups.

In 2022, 177 patients of different age groups underwent 1,085 intra- and extracorporeal procedures in the department.
